Pure Pwnage Gamer Army
- Recruitment Information -
The Gamer Army is the official Pure Pwnage "fan club". Our aim is pwnage and our mandate is to promote fraternity within the Pure Pwnage community and to encourage fair, friendly and competitive play amongst gamers everywhere. In the words of our own General Douglas, our aim is to "Campaign by LAN, PC, and software".
As a member, you should endeavour to uphold the values of the Gamer Army and to maintain uber micro.
If you are simply interested in obtaining custom GA dogtags, you are under no obligation to participate in Gamer Army once registered.
Dog Tags
Your personal Dogtags identify you as an official member of the Gamer Army. We encourage you to wear your tags at all times, especially to LAN tournaments and Pure Pwnage events where there could be special opportunities for Gamer Army members.
The ID number displayed on your tag preview is the current number available for assignment, however your actual number is not assigned until payment is received.
We reserve the right to reject tag submissions which we deem to be offensive or tasteless (no tags have ever been rejected). Contact us if you are unsure.
Gamer Army Forum
Your Pure Pwnage forum account will be updated to reflect your new Gamer Army status, however this will only occur if you are logged into your forum account before signing up. Although it is not mandatory, we strongly suggest that you create one first.
If you submitted the recruitment form while logged into your Pure Pwnage Forum account, your forum account will be updated upon reception of payment to reflect the following:
- Access to the Gamer Army forum.
- Gamer Army rank insignia will appear below your main avatar in your posting details.
- Gamer Army dogtag ID number will be displayed in your posting details
We will strive to maintain the existence of the Forum indefinitely, however we reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.
Gamerarmy.com email address
Email services for your @gamerarmy.com address will be provided by Google through their Gmail web-based interface. You can review their terms of use here.
Usage of your @gamerarmy.com email account is optional and at your own discretion. Please note that it can take up to 5 days for your email account to be created. It is subject to deactivation if misused for "spamming" or for the intentional defamation of Pure Pwnage or the Gamer Army.
We will strive to maintain the email service indefinitely, however we reserve the right to change email service providers or to discontinue the service at any time.
Login and Password
Upon reception of payment, an email will be sent to you containing your default password which can used for accessing Gamer Army HQ and your @gamerarmy.com email account. You must keep your authentication password confidential and not share it with anyone else. Please note that your email, HQ, and forum passwords are not automatically synchronized.
Your Privacy
We will occasionally send emails to you in order to advise you of Gamer Army news, events, and promotions. If you do not wish to receive emails from us, you will be given the option to unsubscribe (while still retaining your membership status).
Your shipping address details will be removed from our records shortly after your order is shipped and we will never provide your contact information to any 3rd party without your prior approval.
Who runs the Gamer Army?
The Pure Pwnage Gamer Army is operated by ROFLMAO Productions, the same team which produces Pure Pwnage. Proceeds from Gamer Army membership fees are re-invested back into making both the Gamer Army and Pure Pwnage even better!
